JIM MacCOOL'S CELTIC NIGHT IN
What:
Jim MacCOOL's magnificent "Ionian Tales" was premiered at the Sunday Times Millennium Literary Festival and has toured constantly at home & abroad ever since.
After opening with a "cracking number" (his words) Jim recites some short poems and plays the Irish Drum.
He then re-acquaints us with traditional Scottish & Irish songs. He sings the introduction to The Selkie's Tale and then a ballad brings us to:
The second half opens with Jim singing and interpreting another exciting Ionian Tale and the evening finishes with more varied music.
