"Peter Pan" - Cliddesden Players 2012 Panto
What:
This was the Cliddesden Players' Panto for 2012 - their hilarious interpretation on the classic Peter Pan story!
Here is the description from the promotion:
Want to find out the 'real' end to the Peter Pan story? Welcome back the familiar characters, but with a difference! Is Captain Hook really a rough, tough pirate? Is the crocodile finally going to catch him? Peter Pan (is it a bird? Is it a boy?) and the largest fairy that you have ever seen battle for treasure, pirate ships and glory with the help of old friends and a few scary ones! And did I mention the Cannibals and Witch Doctor? Hold onto your limbs!
Fun for all the family with audience participation guaranteed. Singing, laughter, groans and, hopefully, a few remembered lines – yes, it's all in the Cliddesden Panto!
Written by our talented director, Emily Golborn, it is adapted from the original Barrie story with royalties paid in perpetuity to GOSH (Great Ormond Street Hospital). So we are supporting a very worthy cause at the same time.
