"Town Mouse Country Mouse" - Family Puppet Show

by Hand to Mouth Theatre

Aesop’s Fables re-jiggled with puppets and giggles!

What:

Martin Bridle (aka The Puppet Man) presents a tale of bravery and mousey derring-do as Hickory goes into the Big Wide World and meets Dickory the Town Mouse. With the help of the audience they subdue Doc, the predatory cat.

This is the imaginative adaptation of two well-loved Aesop’s Fables, "Town Mouse and Country Mouse" and "Belling the Cat" in one funny, musical and dramatic puppet play. Martin Bridle and Su Eaton have been creating and performing high quality, intelligent, puppet theatre since 1979. Their shows are witty and whimsical, beautiful and musical, thoughtful and playful, and guaranteed to entrance and inspire children and adults equally. They last performed at Cliddesden Village Hall in 2010 & 2011 with their Cinderella puppet show.
