"The Baker Boys" - Jazz & Swing Cabaret

The Baker Boys are a group of highly acclaimed young Swing and Jazz musicians based in London. They perform lively and fresh renditions from the riverboats of New Orleans, dance halls of Montmartre and Hot Club repertoire. They are hugely talented musicians featuring drums, bass, guitar and trumpet making music that is toe-tapping and guaranteed to make you sway!

They will be joined for this performance by Vimala, one of the UK’s finest vocalists. Vimala’s voice is beguiling with its bluesy, soulful Bessie Smith/Ella Fitzgerald tone, smooth and mellow and then jaunty and upbeat. Her musical style has been shaped by diverse influences, including Lauryn Hill, Paul Weller and Julie London. She certainly brings an injection of glamour centre stage!

The setting will be cabaret style to complement the music and create an intimate, relaxed evening.
