Dr David Mortimore is nervous enough as he practises his speech to a neurologists’ convention, but unannounced visitors, the hospital pantomime rehearsals and a wandering senile patient shatter his peace in the Doctors’ Common Room.
This hilarious farce, in the true Cooney tradition, builds the comic momentum with subterfuge, lies, invented identities and an assortment of Matrons – real and otherwise!
But who will have the last laugh?
