A double bill of comedy ...

Background Artiste, by Stephen Smith

Mary decides to spice up her life and join Alfredo Leache's Background Artistes Agency. After spending just a short time in the office Mary learns that being a walk-on artiste isn`t all glamour. But is her photograph so bad? There must be an exciting role somewhere for her as an 'Extra'?

She faces the eccentric, elderly couple Walter and Enid, secretary Jessica who ceaselessly acts out her ambition to be an air hostess and Alfred, the tireless boss who works hard for his actors against the odds. So what part does he find for Mary in the end? Will it show her features in the best possible light?

A very funny and witty one act play with a dose of fun and realism for any budding actors out there!

When I Snap My Fingers, by Bruce Adam

Simon and Maria Moffat agree to undergo hypnosis as part of performer Sven Gali's act. Unfortunately, the evening does not go as planned and some very odd behaviour follows!

Can't they really remember anything that happened? What is making them behave this way and how embarrassing for Mother!

This short one act play will have you in fits of laughter at this poor couple's helpless antics. Will Simon's American boss take it all as British good humour? And where did that dog and chicken come from?

Let's hope that Sven Gali can save the day and Simon's job!
