Come & join the English Ceilidh – an evening of toe-tapping music and lively dancing!
Cliddesden Village Hall welcomes you to an English Ceilidh, country dancing with an emphasis on energy, stepping and fun. So think of a lively barn dance, with set or circle dances and a caller to take you through the steps.
And the beauty of a Ceilidh is that everyone can take part, young or old, experienced dancers to beginners and even those with two left feet!
The emphasis is on having fun and being sociable, a real family and community event.
The band, ‘Monty’s Maggot’, features 2 fiddles, guitar, melodeon and 3 saxophones so you can look forward to some infectious rhythm and a full wall of sound!
Brought to you by Anvil Arts and Proteus Theatre Company as part of the Arcadia Rural Touring scheme
