'Storytime'
The Cliddesden Players' 2017 Pantomime
Oh, no! Dastardly deeds are afoot in the Village to stop the Cliddesden Pantomime!
Who doesn’t love this wonderful tradition with its rambling storytelling, pathetic jokes, cross-dressing luvvies, beautiful princess, ruthless villains and brave heroes?
In this year’s gripping, hilarious, heart-warming story, written by our own Darren C, we have a HUGE cast of characters, special effects (oh, yes), songs, budding child actors and old timers. We even have the original Storybook and Book-Mark so you don’t lose your place, or the plot!
So come along and boo the villainous Rufus and be aghast at his evil plans, sigh over the romance (will Handy Dandy live up to his name?), shriek at the rats, cheer the goodies (can Alf be rescued to save the day?) and most of all LAUGH! LAUGH! LAUGH!
And just for 2017 a double-header ‘Twelve Days of Christmas’ featuring Cliddesden’s 2 guitar maestros!
